Since I moved back from the Eastcoast 2 years ago I have been trying to figure out how to get back there to visit. First having a lack of job while I finished school didn't help me much and then moving to Utah and have a minimum wage job meant that if I was lucky I could possible squeeze in a week of going to visit my parents.
Well times have changed and I have been given even more reason for me to make a trip back east. (John and Rebekah this in no way says that you alone are not worth the trip because you are). My sister and her husband now live in Baltimore and New York so ever since I found out they were going to be close to where I lived I have been trying to save up to go and visit everyone and maybe do a bit more site seeing.
Being really bored this evening with not having very many hours of work and nothing else to do but clean and get things ready for thanksgiving I decided that I would look at flight prices, its just something I do every few months to see if they are going down at all. Since my mother had mentioned possibly going at the same time I did I decided that I would look up flights from California, see if any had a layover in Salt Lake and then we could do the remainder of the trip together... Well I found the perfect flight my mother could fly out of the airport closest to her land in Salt Lake and meet up with me for a grand total of 486 dollars, once I saw that flight I knew I had to find it from just Salt Lake... And I did, for 502 dollars I could get on the same flight with less traveling. Am I the only one a little confused by this?
The search for that perfect flight and price continues.

November Happenings
The month is here again and it is as always turning out to be the best month of the year. November has always been my favorite month for obvious reasons, my birthday and my favorite holiday how could you go wrong with both of those in the same month. Although we aren't even half way through the month so many things have happened that are pretty life changing or just fun.
The first thing that happened was I started a new job, thats right I finally found a job that I don't have to travel and hour to get to... Sad thing is, it is doing the same thing I have been doing for the past year.
Due to getting this new job of mine I was able to quit Macey's. This was a bitter sweet moment, I really enjoyed most the people I worked with and will miss them but I was excited to be able to move on to something different, even if it is the same thing, it will at least be a whole lot closer to home so I wont have to drive in the snow as much. Along with the job switch I was able to get most of this past week off which was really nice to have.
As always with November comes another year to add to my age, its the big 22 this year and let me tell you, I just feel old. I was able to spend the day with a couple of friends who took me out to eat for lunch, spending time with them always makes my week and leaves the 3 of us laughing for hours so I was grateful that we were able to spend that time together, hopefully next time we can get others to come and join us as well. The boy I am dating also took great strides to spoil me, and did a pretty good job, he took me out to dinner. ( I ate a lot that day) and then he took me to a play which was really good. I really enjoyed my day except for the fact that from the time I woke up to the time I went to sleep it was snowing. Now normally I wouldn't mind the snow but it was cold there was lots of it and I had to drive in it... I didn't order a white birthday.
Last but not least for November is my favorite holiday. I love Thanksgiving, it seems to be one of the few holidays where the meaning hasn't been lost to something else, to me it means spending time with the family making this amazing meal and most of all being thankful for the gifts that the Lord has put into our lives. I am really looking forward to Thanksgiving this year because my whole family is coming to Utah to celebrate, they will be here for a whole week and I can't wait to see them all, I only hope that I wont have to work the whole time that they are here.
