MAKK The Dragon Boston

This evening I received some very sad news from my parents, the sweet MAKK has past away. For the past 8 and a half years MAKK has brought smiles to many faces through her sweetness and has put up with the brute gyis. This past week we knew she wasn't doing well, and being a domesticated bearded dragon they are only estimated to live 8 to 10 years so we knew she was also getting old, and her time to go was most likely getting close, I just didn't know how close it was going to be. MAKK enjoyed eating lots and lots of Superworms, which are nasty little things, and cuddling up with my dad. She probably would have been happier if she had been the only dragon but she dealt well with the brute. MAKK will be very missed.

Banoffee

Last week while my dad and I were out running errands we watched part of the cooking channel, and we saw Paula Deen make this yummy looking British pie that just made your mouth water it looked so good, so last night I made it. It was delicious, extremely rich, but soo soo good, and so unhealthy for you. It was pretty easy to put together it just took a lot of time with all the baking and the cooling, but in the end it was so worth it. Only downside was that when I cut it it all just ozzed out all over the place so I wasn't able to get any pictures of it... but it is really something you should try someday.

Alive or Not?

So I am sure you are probably all wondering where in the world I have been for the past 3 or so weeks, and the answer is simple, I have been at that lovely place called school. You all know how much I love school and was so looking forward to be back and doing all that fun school stuff... and I hope you know that that was all just sarcasm. I have been back in school for 3 weeks now and am already looking forward to being down. My schedule this semester is really annoying, I have mostly all afternoon classes which I don't really like, and a lot of big awkward breaks in between them all. I watch with sadness as the day to drop classes with a refund past this past Tuesday, and very unhappily purchased hundreds of dollars of books. So needless to say, not to excited for the next however many months I have left. On a good note, I will know for sure in just a little over a week if I can graduate this semester or not, which will make a little bit of a happier person if I did everything right and will be able to. I just hope that I make it through the semester in one piece, because this last week didn't make it seem like I would, I was going to the wrong class at the wrong time, going to the right class at the wrong time, but thankfully I did end up making it to all of my classes on time... just with a lot of confusion.

With the prospect of having my AA by the end of may has left me with having to figure out what to do afterward, where I should go to school, what I should study, where I should live... and honestly I don't have a single answer to any of those questions... which is really irritating. I have seriously been considering becoming a cat lady, which I thought was a wonderful idea, and lately I have come to the thought process of maybe perhaps just becoming a hermit, both of those ideas would work, I just need to figure out which one will be best.
On a serious note for my plans for the future considering the fact that I will be 21 by the end of the year the thought of going on a mission is one that everyone has been putting into my head. Growing up I had never planned on going on a mission, I was always planning on getting married young and starting a family, but perhaps a mission is what I am supposed to do. I really don't know what I is right for me right now, but if I decide to go on a mission I can start my papers in just 6 months, and could possibly be gone by the end of the year. I just need to figure out what the Lord has planned for me, and get over my fears of missing everything in the 18 months that I'd be gone and we will see where that leads me.
