Utah...

So since my last blog post I have moved... it was extremely sudden so sudden that it didn't have time to hit me until I got into the car to head out to Utah, That is right, I have ended up in the state of Utah. I have been here about a week and in that time I have traveled to Salt Lake city 3 times, been to 7 different yarn shops, and I have started a new hobby. I have also applied for about 10 jobs, I am hoping something works out soon so I don't get stressed out and by doing so stress out my sister... or sisters.

So my new Hobby, if I had thought about bringing my camera with me to Utah there might be pictures but I still hadn't found it yet when I left so it was forgotten, but I have started Punch Embroidery and its actually really fun, and pretty different from anything else that I have done so far. At some point I plan on trying actual embroidery, but I haven't gotten to that point yet, but its so nice having a project I can sit and do while I do other things... and its not knitting so its a plus.

Well other then that Utah hasn't been to exciting, I am just hoping a job comes through before I go in sane.

Choices in Life

If I had ever listened to my parents while I was growing up when they told me that life outside of childhood was hard and full of decisions to be made and life not going the way that it had been planned, I would have tried harder to enjoy my childhood a lot more then what I did, and perhaps decide a bit more of what I wanted to do with my life because maybe that would make the decisions that I need to make in my life now a lot easier then what they have been. Growing up my biggest plan for my future was to get married, the thought of school, going on a mission, or anything else that happens to those of us that don't get married young that happen. Now here I am at 20 years old and I have no idea of where to go with my life. Heavenly Father obviously had a different plan for me other then getting married as soon as I was 18, or even now, but I am extremely grateful for that, it just leaves me here in a position that I have no idea what to do with my life. I am trying to find a job, rather unsuccessfully, I might add, I did have a job interview on Tuesday but that proved to be more for entertainment then for anything that will ever happen in the future. It was for an interpreting position, but even though I studied it for 3 years, I think I know as much sign language as what my nephews do that have only been learning it for a couple weeks. Being down with COS I am left with the choice of what to do, and I don't know where to head with this... My biggest fear is choosing wrong, thats probably why I am still living at home and not being to successful in the life category. I see all of my friends that are around my age accomplishing so many things or doing things that I would like to do, but haven't been able to for many reason.... Bottom line is when I am faced with the choice of what road to go down when I run into a fork in the road, I think I would head down the road that flat out said "Kelsey this is the path for you" because I am not good with this whole deciding and actually following through with things.

Disneyland and the 4th of July

I know it has been a couple weeks since these events have taken place, but to be honest I have been avoiding writing on my blog but I have finally decided that it is time.
The Wednesday and Thursday before the 4th my dad and I had plans to take My oldest nephew to Disneyland, he is 4 now and is tall enough to ride on most of the rides and when he was there in April he loved it, so when I decided I really wanted to go my dad jumped to making a plan to help make it happen. The Monday before we left my sister decided that she wanted to come to so instead of just one nephew I had to spend time with at my favorite place on earth. Dispite the downsides of the trip mainly my nephew being really tired from walking the whole time, I really enjoyed... but I still want to go back again, but I am sure it will be a long time before I am able to make it back again. Here are the pictures that I took.

To begin every trip to Disneyland you always start out with a ride in the car, and if your coming from where my sister lives then you have a lot of bumps to go over before you get there, I decided to get my nephews warmed up with raising their hands and screaming when we went down hill. The youngest had no idea what was going on, but was more then willing to put his hands up.We also had cinnamon rolls on the way down there, and since I was sitting in the view of Toby he of course believed that he needed just as much as what I had, so of course we shared, I had to get him to like me some how.

This is a Picture of me and Xman on splash mountain, he didn't want to go on splash mountain because it looked scary so we told him we were going on a log ride around splash mountain, he was pretty scared. We lied to the poor guy a lot so we could get him on some of the rides that he used to like until they took him on tower of terror.
After our trip we came home to celebrate the 4th, we had all but one of my sisters come for the weekend. It was pretty uneventful but it is always really nice to have my sisters around... its even nice to have the rest of their family come too. On Sunday I took Tobsters in to the Kitchen to help me bake some cookies for some stress relief, it was the cutest thing ever because I would ask him a question and he would slowly nod his head up and down. My nephews are also learning ASL so its fun to be able to see how they sign, I Love It.

On the 4th we literally spent all day in the kitchen making dinner, I was in the kitchen from 9 until 3 making desserts, which were absolutely amazing, the whole meal was absolutely wonderful and way filling. I have a picture of one of the desserts somewhere but I have misplaced my camera for the moment so I'll have to post it later.
